Tree Frog hoppy pale ale was our Summer Special in 2016 - and was not due to be brewed again until late spring 2017 it proved to be so popular and a favourite with many of our regular customers we have decided to bring it back early - it will now be available from the end of March 2017!
We have been designing again and the new beer mats are almost ready to hit the bars and tables!
So here is a sneak preview....
Be sure to look out for them - they are so colourful you can hardly miss them!!
Camra Arun & Adur Beer Festival in Worthing last October was a brilliant couple of days for the Greyhound team - and we won overall best Beer of The Festival for our Amber Eyes!
The Five Bells in West Chiltington hosted the certificate presentation at the end of December and Worthing CAMRA members came up by bus to congratulate us so a huge thank you to you all!!

We have been well represented in Brighton and thoroughly enjoying supplying pubs within the Indigo Pub Group over the spring/summer with Amber Eyes and Blonde Bird and our summer special Tree Frog and would like to have a couple more beers on offer there come the Autumn - Hope many of you have been able to enjoy a few swift pints in the sunshine by the sea in Brighton this summer!
GOOD NEWS for Enterprise Inns publicans and regulars - from the beginning of September our Amber Eyes and Good Ordinary will be available! We ‘go live’ from the 1st September……..

Our 3 regular bottled ales Blonde Bird, Amber Eyes and B-46 have a had label re-design!
Wow…no updates since Halloween!! anyone would think we’d been busy!…
The build-up to our first Christmas was frantic with brewing, brewing and more brewing to build up stocks of cask and bottled beer.
All three of our bottled beers are now available from the 4 Hennings Wine Merchant shops across West Sussex after Greyhound Brewery gatecrashed (by invitation!) their pre-Christmas wine tasting evening!
Bottles now also available at the Real Burger Kitchen in Chichester - a delicious partnership!
Amber Eyes and B-46 were also the alfresco refreshments at The George at Burpham for their glorious Boxing Day Morris Dancing event! A big thank you to them for their continued custom!!
Our pump clips are getting a re-vamp so look out for some colour on the pumps….here’s a sneaky peak!!
Greyhound Brewery is in the Greyhound pub! We are delighted to be a regular feature on the pumps at The Greyhound Inn in Midhurst.
The Rising Sun in Nutbourne, where you are guaranteed to find a pint of our beer, has given our good friend Phil Hardy and his mate James Bailey a regular music slot on the first Thursday of every month! Next one is on the 4th Feb - so if you are in the area pop in for some great music (from 9pm) yummy food (from 7pm) and a fantastic pint or two of Greyhound beer (always!)
We are very excited to have our beer in more new local pubs and clubs here in West Sussex and beyond, and the festival dates are starting to get lined up - we are looking forward to what 2016 holds (or throws at us!)
Halloween night at The Sportsman, Amberley 31st October - Scary Food cooked up by Mark on the BBQ, Live Music, Fancy Dress and Beer! Look out for Greyhound Brewery Zombie Serum green hopped Pale Ale!
We are making our first green hop beer on Tuesday next week using Target hops picked just the day before! The flavour profile of the beer has been designed but it is still without a name, no doubt the name will be ‘green’ inspired, so look out for it and please try it if you see it ….there will only be a small number of casks produced. We are excited about making this and looking forward to tasting the results, we would love to know what you think!
Since returning from our trip to Oregon last month we have been busy brewing and getting our stocks up!
The popularity of our two ‘one off’ Specials, Blonde 3.9% a pale ale and B46 4.6% a dark amber ale, has encouraged us to make them permanent features in our brewery.
Also….look out for some exciting special dark beers for the coming Halloween and Christmas festivities!
Greyhound beer, in particular Amber Eyes, is becoming a permanent feature at a few local pubs now…..

The Countryman, Shipley www.countrymanshipley.co.uk
The White Horse Hotel, Storrington www.thewhitehorsestorrington.com
…… so drop in for a pint or two of Greyhound!
The White Horse in Storrington is the latest pub to have our cask beer. Under new management and newly refurbished the White Horse also has delicious food and a 13 room hotel if you need it! Thank you Buzz for contacting us whilst we were across the pond in Oregon and glad we had some helpers back home to get the beer to you. Greyhound beer will soon be a regular feature at the bar! www.thewhitehorsestorrington.com
The Kings Arms, Arundel have an Ale Club night once a month, and on the 24th June it was our turn to be the brewery under scrutiny! The pub was bustling with thirsty locals and we had 4 beers for them to try: our hoppy Tree Frog, Amber Eyes both bottle and cask conditioned for an interesting comparison and finally our Special B46, which was the favourite on the night! The beer went down very well and everyone seemed to be having a good time, we certainly were! A huge Thank you to Charlie, Ali, Rachel, Mandy and Chris at the Kings Arms for allowing us to take over their pub for the evening, and thanks also to all the local ale drinkers who gave us invaluable instant feed back and gave our beers the thumbs up! www.kingsarmsarundel.co.uk
We are producing two brand new beers alongside our popular Amber Eyes 4.2% and Special B46 4.6%.5
Special Blonde golden pale ale at 3.9% is a delicious, summery, full bodied and fragrant session beer using German malts and hops, providing lager drinkers with a tasty alternative too!
Listening to our customers who enjoy a lower abv session bitter, we are also trialling Good Ordinary Bitter 3.8% which uses mainly English malts and hops. It has a traditional rounded flavour and subtle bitterness with an extra layer of freshness and aroma from the addition of dry hops. We are excited by this brew and hope it will become a tasty new regular! It will be available later in the summer so look out for it and let us know what you think.
We are taking Good Ordinary Bitter and one other recipe out to North America this summer where we are going to be guest brewers at the Mill City Brew Werks, Camas, WA – the brewery where this journey really started! It is great to be going back and taking our beer with us, we’re sure to pick up a few tips and will re-charge our ‘can do’ attitude batteries!
